Enrique Lamadrid

Enrique Lamadrid_lrEnrique Lamadrid, Vice President, is a Professor of Spanish and Portuguese in the Language Department at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. In addition, he is a literary folklorist, author, ethnomusicologist, and vocal performer of Inditas. For many years, he has coordinated Connexiones, a summer exchange program with Mexico. He collaborated with Jack Loeffler on La Music de los Viejitos, an aural and photo documentation project that resulted in several articles and a book. His book, Hermanitos Commanchitos, was published in September, 2003 by UNM Press. Most recently, he has been a consultant on Camino Real de Tierra Adentro, a new museum developed by BLM and the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.
